It’s more secure than a credit or debit card. Cards can get lost or stolen, but with Ipagos™, you authorize each transaction individually at the time of purchase. The cashier provides you with a code that you then enter into your phone. Ipagos™ validates the transaction and, upon approval, completes the transaction through the cashier. Once you approve the transaction through your phone, a receipt is provided. It’s that simple.

You can transfer money to your family and friends. Credit and debit cards do not allow you to transfer funds to other people, but with Ipagos™, all they need is an account in order to start moving funds from person to person.

Merchant Benefits
Unlike credit & debit cards, Ipagos™ does NOT insert itself in the middle of the buyer and the seller; it simply facilitates the movement of payments from the consumer to the merchant in real-time.

Unlike credit & debit cards, Ipagos™ does NOT take a percentage of the transaction from merchants, a cost that is incorporated into the sale price and ultimately paid by consumers. Typical debit and credit card transaction processing costs merchants a percentage of sales, but with Ipagos™, the cost of processing is eliminated and the savings are passed on to the consumer.
